PA Housing ordered to pay £1,500 after a leaking roof went unfixed for nearly three years
What happened
A leaking roof was not resolved for close to three years, largely because contractors repeatedly turned up without the keys needed to access the roof. The resident's wife had anxiety and depression, which was only acted on once the independent investigation became involved.
What the independent statutory ruling ordered
Ordered to apologise, pay £1,500 in compensation and improve how it records resident vulnerabilities.
