How we support vulnerable tenants
Every referral is handled with care. Our advisers are experienced in supporting tenants through the process sensitively and patiently, especially those in vulnerable situations.
We accommodate language needs (translation available on request), accessibility needs, and we're comfortable speaking with appointees, advocates, or family members on behalf of tenants who prefer that. Tell us on the referral form and we'll handle it.
If the situation is urgent
We help with housing disrepair, not emergencies. If someone is in immediate danger, use emergency services. If they are homeless or being evicted now, contact the council housing options team or an urgent housing adviser. For a safeguarding concern, follow your local safeguarding process. For medical advice, speak to a health professional.
