Tell your landlord your home is not safe to return to after hospital

When to use this
  • You are in hospital, or about to leave, and cannot return home safely until something is fixed or changed.
  • A repair, hazard or lack of adaptation is delaying your discharge.

  • Any letter from the hospital or ward about your discharge needs
  • Photos of the problem if it is a repair or hazard

Ask the hospital discharge team or your social worker to support your request, as they can often push for urgent action. If the problem is a repair your landlord must fix, call us on 0800 030 4669.
