Has Adra ignored your repair complaint?

You're not the only one. If you reported a repair and Adra ignored it, the law is on your side.

Adra manages around 7,400 homes across Gwynedd and Anglesey in north-west Wales. The association formed in 2010 from a stock transfer from Gwynedd County Council (the body was then renamed). Adra serves a primarily Welsh-speaking community and provides services bilingually.

North Wales' largest HA. 7,400 homes; £85m 5-year investment plan; 800 new homes pipeline. They manage 7,400 homes across England and Wales. When a landlord this size ignores you, the law is on your side, but only if you act. Under Awaab's Law and Section 11 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985, you can claim compensation and force the repair.

Welsh tenants are protected by the Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016 and the Fitness for Human Habitation Regulations 2022. Adra's stock includes a high proportion of rural and semi-rural housing with specific damp and heating challenges. The Welsh framework differs from the rules in England. Service available bilingually. If Adra has ignored you, here's how to claim.
