Peabody ordered to pay £3,200 after a roof leak led to damp and mould
What happened
The landlord took far longer than its own policy allowed to repair a roof, left scaffolding up too long, and was slow to respond to the resident's concerns about an ongoing leak. The leak led to damp and mould.
What the independent statutory ruling ordered
Ordered the Chief Executive to apologise in writing, pay £3,200 in compensation, complete the outstanding works and arrange a move for the resident.
